 Southern Adirondack Pines
is a secluded campground in the
Town of Caroga, “Where the Adirondacks Begin.” Located on the shores
of Pine Lake, Southern Adirondack
Pines offers a wide variety of activities for both the young and young
at heart.
Come and enjoy the
Adirondacks as it was meant to be – without the crowds now common in
some other Adirondack areas…. and yet a short trip away if you really
desire.
If you or the
kids like to swim, or just relax on the beach, there is nowhere like
Pine Lake in the entire Adirondacks, with its pristine views, sandy
beach and crystal clear waters . The picture you see above is the view
from our lakefront accommodations. Southern Adirondack Pines also
offers the perfect setup for multi-family vacationers with furnished
accommodations and campsites located in close proximity to each other.
The breathtaking beauty of the mountains,
trails and streams is close and convenient. Take a hike up Kane
Mountain and view the area from its fire tower, canoe Pine Lake or
take the trip to Stewart's Landing, mountain bike on the numerous and challenging snowmobile and
logging trails or enjoy great fishing in one of the dozens of lakes
within a 10 minute drive. Enjoy one of the nearby restaurants or
country stores, or cook at your cabin or camper while enjoying the
view of the lake. And don't forget - Southern Adirondack Pines also
has excellent tennis facilities available for your enjoyment.
If you prefer a faster pace, there are numerous attractions within a
short drive. Lake George, Saratoga Springs, Turning Stone Casino and the Capital District
are all only about an hour away!
Southern Adirondack Pines Campground
and Cabins features beautiful lakefront cabin rentals and camper
rentals. If you want more privacy, a rustic cottage is only a few
steps from the lake. All our cabin, camper and cottage rentals come
completely furnished - just bring
your linens! After a season of low water at Pine Lake, the dam
repairs are now completed and we're looking forward to a great season here in
the southern Adirondacks! L
